Message-ID: Dear Teknoids- What applications are you all using to support your Career Development Offices? Anyone using Salesforce and/or third-party apps to support on campus interviews, job postings, resumes, counseling scheduling? We are currently using Symplicity's Career Services Manager, but they are closing their SOAP API this coming June 2020 leaving us with an orphaned sync against our SIS and Salesforce. I'd be grateful for this group's insight into other applications that we should be considering at this juncture. Thank you for letting me impose on your inboxes and I hope you all are having a great summer! In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Vermont Law uses Symplicity for Career Services job boards and Externships management, but only imports CSV reports from various systems, with no real-time sync, as far as I know. Do they have any other API besides the SOAP endpoints? What SIS do you use? We are a Jenzabar EX school and most of its integrations are completely developed and maintained in-house. The entities in our Symplicity database do not change often, so an infrequent CSV upload from an SSRS source is sufficient, I suppose. Our alumni office has its own job boards and such, and they do not use Symplicity; they’ve engaged with a few vendors recently for this, most recently Graduway, I believe. Perhaps that’s an option if Symplicity is completely dropping its clients’ business processes, but I have no idea about the scope of the product or its suitability for any specific requirements. -- Ben From: Teknoids On Behalf Of Jonathan Sibray Sent: Tuesday, July 23, 2019 16:08 To: teknoids at lists.teknoids.net Subject: [teknoids] Career Development Office Apps | Recommendations?
