Kim,

We have a similar issue with one of our student’s laptops. Devices is a Samsung running Windows 10 64 bit and it seems to hang every time there is long typing process, either with Exam4 or Word. We helped the student on updating this device two weeks ago so we can’t tell if it’s a driver issue or not (but your lead on the driver could be accurate as this laptop might be touchscreen as well).

We’re an Exam4 shop and exams started Monday.  We have one student’s computer that we’re having issues with in closed mode … we’ve narrowed it down to a touch screen driver, but I haven’t gotten my hands back on his computer to test the fix.  The computer is an older Acer or Asus (can’t remember exactly) running Win10, but there are no Win10 drivers for this particular computer on the manufacturer’s website.  The newest drivers are 2013.

Otherwise, we’re as fine as frog’s hair!  ☺

Our first day is Friday with Exam4. I’ve run several tests on 10.12.4 and haven’t experienced any issue. I’ll report back at the end of the day Friday or Saturday.

Anyone started finals on Exam4?  Any issues?
We start finals next week, and will post results.  So far our testing has been trouble-free (fingers-crossed).
