[teknoids] MS-300 Microform Scanner

Ok, so it seems the solution was to make adjustments to the SCSI card. In my case, both the SCSI card and the scanner show up in Device Manager, but the software can't see it. So I went after Canon and the software manufacturer since the card seemed to be working. I will call Adaptec next and see what happens. Thanks for the replies.

My target of "attack" would be the SCSI interface. It may not be the scanner (and/or its driver) itself that's not cooperating. My brief googlings indicate that people are successfully using the scanner on Win7. For example: https://tech.lds.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=144&t=19814

I would also try using both a 32 and 64 bit version of Windows to see if there is a difference.

We have an MS-300 and we've been keeping one last Windows XP machine to keep it going. If anyone knows how to make it work with Windows 7 let me know too.

I've asked the vendor we bought it from and they say it won't work with Windows 7 but I know they want to sell us a new machine.
