Same here at UNC School of Law. We coordinate with the campus Disability Services office. They, along with law school student services and we in IT, provide any and all necessary accommodations.

Good luck,
Doug

I agree with Kris. Look to UNT's policies first. They likely have dealt with these issues and have specific policies. If not, let the list know and I am sure you can get copies of many different policies.

Jenny,

Typically ADA accommodations are handled through the University Disability Office (or whatever their title is there). You might be able to contact someone in that office and get their recommendation. It may be something they have had to figure out before.

Good luck!

Kris

All,

We are gearing up for our first set of exams with Examsoft, and I had a few questions for you:

1) What do you do if you have a student with an ADA accommodation who has problems typing and handwriting, say they broke their arm/writ to the point where it is painful to type or write?

2) Do you have set policies on options for ADA accommodated students and exams? If yes and you are able to share, would you please send them to me?

Any information that you can supply is greatly appreciated.

Jenny
