At Whittier we use Examsoft. It is one of the oldest and might not be technically the best, however, we have has a good experience with them over many years, the California Bar uses it (relieves me of the concern for security as they are more concerned that I), and they are continuing to develop it.

It does not work on Chrome books as of this most recent administration. I don't know about tablets, though why someone would use one is beyond me, even with a keyboard. As with any software the more powerful the processor and robust memory the better it works.

As a faculty member and administrator I appreciate getting the exams all printed at once from their server to our network copiers.

Please say hi to my friend Dick Danner.

Subject: [teknoids] Exam Software

What exam software do you use in your environment? What are your experiences with the software? Why did you choose the software? Does the software support electronic take home exam, and multiple choice? Is it cross platform? Can it be used on any device type? Any other information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
