i know this one quite well and its not Examsoft. I had the same problem
with Bluesocket which we had used from our wireless network as far as
FTP uploads with Software Secure and its definitely an issue with
Bluesocket. We switched over to Bradford from Bluesocket before we
resolved the issue. Definitely contact a tech rep at Bluesocket.

Have you talked with the support team at ExamSort about this? They may
have run into this before. I have found them to be very helpful.

Subject: [teknoids] SofTest Over Wireless

We are having some problems using ExamSoft SofTest over our wireless
network. Currently we have students use a VPN, and log in to a Blue
Socket server. The VPN is PPTP using the VPN built into Windows XP and
Vista. The exam takers are students who have purchased their own
laptops to use in school. For some students, the automatic upload
takes a long time, and often times out entirely. If we do a manual
upload through the ExamSoft web site, it takes a long time.

Some students have no problems, and many students have this problem
uploading the answer file. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
