We have limits (set by main campus) of 10MB for normal e-mails and 2 MB
on listserv messages.

Subject: [teknoids] Limits on email attachment sizes?

Hi everyone,

We are revisiting the issue of what an appropriate limit for an email
attachment would be for our faculty, staff, and students and are wanting
to know how other folks have addressed this.

If you currently impose per-message size limitations, what are they? Do
you give different limits to different groups, or do you have the same
limit for your entire college? We're needing to find a number that
balances the need for effective collaboration with the need for
responsible and stable use of service. (an age old struggle)

Thank you for your insight! I'd be happy to compile and share whatever
data is sent my way on this one!
